2019 Kivelstadt Twice Removed Rose´

$20.00

Purchase this delicious wine we tasted last week on our live Facebook tasting. Reviews were “fresh, crisp, dry and rhubarb“, “I’m surprised how much we really liked this one“, grapefruit, rhubarb and violet with slight pleasant acidity. Great on it’s own or great food wine! “Great with Ina Garten Shrimp Salad!” Great with light salads, light pasta and rice dishes, especially with seafood, raw and lightly cooked shellfish and grilled fish and goats’ cheeses.

Twice Removed Rose is a classic blend of Grenache and Carignane, grown in Mendocino’s 70 year old, organic Venturi vineyard. The Grenache was foot-stomped and left to cold soak overnight in order to extract the full color. Both varieties were then whole-cluster pressed, co-fermented in stainless steel and then racked off of the lees with malolactic fermentation blocked. The result is a salmon pink beauty with a light and steely minerality and aromas dominated by cranberry, grapefruit and savory herbs.
